The unthinkable!

I havent been active on my website for a fair few weeks now, the last time i had written a post was when i was expecting my first little boy.
On the 12th january Harrison was born at 12:04pm, little did myself or my family know that the next 2 days werent going to be how we dreamt it to be. Due to complications at birth harrison was left brain dead and unable to wake up, he was put on a cooling unit to minimise his condition but that wasnt enough. Harrison put up a good fight but his brain was having fits and it wasnt fair to see any child in that pain. So the family and i decided to let our little boy fly high in peace on the 14th january at 2 days old.
The nurses who looked after harrison done everything they could of and so much more like he was one of their own. I cant thank them enough for giving me those speical days with our son. They also captured those moments on camera so i can always look back on them and put them in a special keepsake box just for him.
Harrisons funeral took place in febuary for family only, i know some of you wanted to send flowers for his special day. But instead of flowers i am asking everyone for a small donation in memory of harrison to those people who looked after and helped harrison in his very short life. This money can go towards helping other babies born just like harrison and to help the neonatal unit buy equipment to save babies lifes.
